I am pleased to have stumbled upon this gem. The absence of tourists indicated its local appeal. This authentic ramen experience left a lasting impression. My recommendation doesn’t solely rest on its affordability and efficient service, but also the unique ambiance that sets it apart. The enthusiastic staff readily assist, adding to the overall charm. I wholeheartedly endorse it!

The seamless integration of yuzu flavor with the ramen is pleasantly surprising. Impressively, the yuzu tsukemen (dipping noodles) has garnered even more praise than the regular broth-based ramen.
For those not keen on tonkotsu ramen, this could be an enticing option. However, if the taste of yuzu doesn’t appeal to you, it might not be your best choice.
During peak hours, this establishment experiences considerable foot traffic. While my usual choice is the tsukemen, I accidentally ordered the soup ramen set, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. The gohan bowl was particularly satisfying, and the yuzu-infused draft beer was refreshingly enjoyable.
The delicate yet flavorful broth is enriched with the lovely aroma of yuzu. The expertly charred chashu and perfectly al dente ramen combined for a superb meal. Be ready for potential wait times during mealtimes, as the popularity of this spot is evident.

Situated in the heart of Shinjuku, this charming establishment offers ramen that stands out from the ordinary. While the flavor leaned a bit too heavily toward smokiness for my personal palate, the pork and noodles were exceptional, boasting delightful textures. The staff displayed attentive and amiable service.

Stumbled upon this gem while searching for tsukemen and was delighted with the discovery. Utilized the English-ordering machine and secured a seat reasonably quickly, despite a slight wait. Opted for the garlic-infused dipping sauce, while my partner chose the original – both were exceptional, though I’m inclined to lean towards the garlic version due to its lighter and less salty profile. Both variations brimmed with robust flavors, and the noodles’ texture was simply impeccable! The chashu was a true masterpiece! Highly recommended, especially at the reasonable price point of ¥2900 for two.

Loved by both locals and tourists, there’s always a wait during meal hours. I visited this popular spot on a Friday evening and lucked out with only one person ahead of me in line. I chose the motsu tsukemen, which features cooked entrails in the dipping sauce—a surprisingly delicious combination. The noodles were perfect, pork tasty, and the standout was the hearty yet not heavy broth. Fast and friendly service added to the positive experience. Definitely worth a try.
